1. Agreement to Terms

By creating a Hero Profile on Kids Cyber Guard, you agree to follow our code of conduct and safety rules. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not access the training terminal. These terms apply to all users, including children and their parents or guardians.

2. User Ranks and Shield Points

Shield Points (SP) are mock points awarded for successfully completing security modules, quiz challenges, and interactive simulations. Points have no monetary value and cannot be traded or redeemed for real money, goods, or services. Point balances may be reset if your account is suspended for violating these Terms.

3. Ethical Hacking Code of Conduct

The skills taught on this platform (e.g. password strength rules, spotting phishing messages, social engineering defences) are meant exclusively for defence and educational purposes. Using these concepts to compromise databases, send scams, or infiltrate systems is strictly prohibited.

4. Parental Consent & Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Kids Cyber Guard is designed for children aged 7–16. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable data protection laws:

• Children under 13 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent to create an account.
• Parents and guardians may register on behalf of their child using a parent email address.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent.
• Parents may request to review, correct, or permanently delete their child's data by contacting us at ammarmuqriz31@gmail.com.
• If we discover we have collected personal information from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.

5. Subscription & Refund Policy

Kids Cyber Guard offers a free tier with access to the first 3 training modules, and a Premium Guardian tier that unlocks all content. Premium access is available as a one-time purchase.

• All purchases are processed securely through our payment provider.
• Refund Policy: You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided that no more than 2 premium modules have been completed. After this window, or after completing more than 2 premium modules, no refund will be issued.
• To request a refund, email us at ammarmuqriz31@gmail.com with your account username and purchase date.
• Shield Points earned before or after a refund have no cash value and are non-refundable.

6. Disclaimer

Kids Cyber Guard is an educational awareness platform designed to introduce children to cybersecurity concepts in an engaging, age-appropriate way. The content provided is for general educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional cybersecurity training, certifications, or advice. We make no warranty that completing our modules will prevent all cyber threats or security incidents.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify users by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated effective date, and where appropriate, by sending an email notification to registered accounts. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
