1. Overview

Kids Cyber Guard is dedicated to providing a safe, educational, and secure environment. We implement industry-standard authentication and cloud database structures to ensure that your digital identity remains secure. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

2. Information We Collect

To track your achievements, lessons, and Shield Points (SP), the platform stores the following in our database:

• A custom display Hero Name (username) chosen by you
• An internal email address used solely for authentication purposes
• Your age group (used to ensure age-appropriate content)
• Training module completion states, dates, and scores
• Total Shield Points accumulated
• Account tier (free or premium)

We do not collect real full names, home addresses, phone numbers, or payment card details directly. Payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor.

3. Firebase — Authentication & Database

Kids Cyber Guard is built on Google Firebase, a cloud platform by Google LLC. We use the following Firebase services:

• Firebase Authentication — Manages user sign-in. Firebase processes and stores authentication tokens (email/password credentials) in Google's secure cloud infrastructure.
• Cloud Firestore — A NoSQL cloud database where your profile, progress, and points are stored. Firestore data is hosted on Google's servers in accordance with Google's data processing terms.

By using Kids Cyber Guard, you acknowledge that your authentication data and profile data are processed and stored by Google Firebase in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Google Gemini AI — Threat Checker

Our AI-powered Threat Checker feature uses the Google Gemini API (a generative AI service by Google DeepMind). When you submit a URL, message, or link for analysis:

• The submitted text is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing.
• Kids Cyber Guard does not store the content you submit to the Threat Checker.
• Google may process submitted queries in accordance with their AI data usage policies. We recommend not submitting sensitive personal information (e.g. passwords, full names) to the Threat Checker.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

We take the privacy of children seriously. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable laws:

• Children under 13 require verifiable parental or guardian consent to use this platform.
• We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 without parental consent.
• Parents may review, correct, or request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us at ammarmuqriz31@gmail.com.
• Upon receipt of a valid deletion request, we will remove all associated Firestore documents and Firebase Authentication records within 30 days.

6. Cookies & Session Tokens

Kids Cyber Guard uses browser session tokens managed by Firebase Authentication to keep you logged in between visits. These tokens are stored in your browser's local storage or session storage and are used solely for authentication purposes. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You may clear these tokens at any time by logging out or clearing your browser data.

7. Data Control & Deletion

Users and parents/guardians retain full control of their records. Admins can delete profiles via the admin panel, removing all score logs, progress entries, and login credentials permanently from the system. Users may also contact us directly to request account deletion. We do not sell, trade, or share your training data with external parties.
